Naira Marley signs his “charge sheet” ahead of his arraignment in court on Monday

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has announced that Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, who was arrested on the 10th of May alongside four others, will be charged to court on Monday, 20th of May 2019 where he’d be formally docked before a Lagos Federal High Court over allegations of card theft and forgery. In all, the anti-graft agency in the case marked FHC/L/178c/19, filed 11 charged against the singer and his cohorts, many of who are now at large. Details of the court papers show that most of the charges border on use of forged or stolen access card to obtain money, offences, which are punishable by the Cyber Crimes Prohibition law of Nigeria.
