Two suspects identified as Basiru Abdullahi and Martin Adekola, both from Oja Funi area of Ede, Osun State, have been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for being in possession of human skulls.
The suspects paraded alongside 53 others for various offences including armed robbery and cultism, were arrested on July 11 after being unable to give satisfactory account of the human skulls they were in possession of. Speaking to newsmen, Commissioner of Police, Mr Shina Olukolu said;
“On July 11, 2019, at about 16.00hrs patrol team attached to Ikoyi Ile/Ogbomoso road led by inspector Benjamin Olayiwola intercepted Abdullahi Basiru and Adekola Martin both of Oja Funi Area, Ede, Osun state with two human skulls.”
